In the mood to sing? NoDa 101 is your spot. It's a bare bones bar (no food, minimal seating), but the DJ and the bar staff are friendly and on point. The vibes are good, and they have basic rules to keep things fair and friendly.

THIS BAR IS WHACK! The DJKUDOS got us kicked us out for saying the N word (barely). DJ KUDOS you are really whack. I supported you and you got us kicked out with no warning. Please believe I will drag your name until you no longer can DJ.

Hands down one of the best karaoke spots around! They have karaoke daily, yes.. daily! Any night of the week is a good time to go to NODA 101. The songbook is full of songs so you're bound to find something. The bartenders keep the drinks flowing and their prices are very affordable. Hence why you may see a lot of people extremely tipsy on a weekend night. Security is always nice and never overbearing. If you're a fan of karaoke, this is a place you must try.

Vibe and everything was super chill. The people were very nice and it's weird to be writing this but everyone there including the patrons were super respectful and fun.

This is always a HIT spot whenever we are in Noda. For some reason, we always end up going on Sunday, which is service industry night. Everybody is always super friendly and welcoming. This is a karaoke bar, but even if you don't actually stand and sing something, it's still an awesome bar to go and listen to others and get a couple of drinks. They don't sell any type of food here, so definitely plan on grabbing a quick bite before you go. When you go up to sing, everyone makes you feel super welcomed and get you going, and everyone sings along, especially if it's a classic or favorite! This is definitely a bar I recommend to everyone when they are in Noda. This is the most liveliest bar, and the ambiance is always on point! Now this is in Noda, so parking is terrible. There are a couple of parking lots you can park at or Side Street if you get there early enough. We do tend to arrive early just yo be able to snag a seat at the bar and be comfortable.

I had a blast!! The DJ kept the karaoke organized and it was a great mix of music. I'm looking forward to going back. I really enjoyed the Jameson green tea shots.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a little weary of this place. I came out for a specific event\ karaoke night hosted by the Urban League. The place was packed and there was hardly any standing room. It was pretty epic though to hear the entire bar singing Fugees - Killing Me Softly With His Song to the top of their lungs. Despite other reviews the DJ was very adamant about being fair and not letting the same people get on stage all night. This also was my first time trying some of the local beers. This bar had Legion on tap. The Juicy Jay was a favorite.

After a delicious dinner in NoDa, my cousin and I were looking for something to do. We did a search and came across this spot. If you have not been here you must make your way down. Great drinks, awesome environment, and some good performances. Side note, do NOT drop the mic.

We were walking down the street when we decided why not stop in and check out NoDa 101. This was our first time in the location and we had a blast! Who doesn't love karaoke! The DJ had a large catalog of songs which was a major plus for me. The bartenders were amazing. Both were attentive and I never felt overlooked nor did I have long wait when placing/receiving  our drinks. I recommend eating prior to arriving. NoDa 101 doesn't serve food on site but there are a plethora of local restaurants in the area. We definitely plan to return.
